Bio

Born and raised in Silicon Valley (aka The Valley of Heart's Delight), Jafari Joseph grew up in San José, and completed a BS in Economics (2001) and a MBA from Santa Clara University (2006).

Jafari taught himself how to “write code that sings” while working 20+ years in Higher Ed tech.

But he could never forget the orchards.

Love for his hometown (San José) birthed a small book—a novella—The Valley of Heart's Delight (2023).

“A coming-of-age story of a Black creative and his search for belonging besides his comically capable and loving family hard at work in sunny Northern California.”
